Mauquoy Token Company Acquires International Token Distributors: A Strategic Acquisition to Strengthen Market Position in Belgium and Neighboring Countries

Westerlo, September 17, 2024 – Mauquoy Token Company (MTC), Europe’s largest manufacturer of metal tokens, proudly announces the acquisition of International Token Distributors (ITD), an established distributor in the metal and plastic token sector since 1998.
With this acquisition, MTC aims to further solidify its position as a market leader in Belgium and neighboring countries by leveraging synergies in logistics, customer service, and sales. ITD has built a strong reputation through years of collaboration with a wide range of clients.
Expanding Market Reach
Since its inception, MTC has been ITD’s primary supplier. Through this acquisition, MTC expects to expand its customer base and ensure continuity for ITD’s clients. Additionally, the acquisition provides MTC with the opportunity to actively target certain regions. ITD has a well-developed network of partners and customers in multiple regions, enabling MTC to distribute its products more easily and quickly in specific market segments.

The transaction was negotiated before the summer and finalized on September 13th. The financial details of the acquisition will not be disclosed.
